When I heard this yesterday I wondered if Lambert had been quietly offered a job somewhere and had a word in Holt’s shell-like because he wants to take him with him. A transfer request might smooth the way a bit. Then a Norwich fan phoned the radio station I was listening to and he reckons Holt and Lambert have had something of a fall-out, so once it appeared Lambert was hanging around Holt might have decided it was time to move on.
