to be fair, its a much better list than the real one! i think dempsey has been marvellous all season long and although not on the list, both toure and kompany must be ahead of the likes of scott parker. also nice to see alex song get some recognition - been excellent this year and again, miles better than 'media favourite' parker
fed up with the elitism that exists at the moment - dempsey should be up there for player of the season rather than an alternative list...but he doesn't play for one of the big boys...if he goes to arsenal and has the same season then he'll be talked about as being suitable - still the same player...
The Young Players... one is the one that really pisses me off. Does Aguero really need to be on both shortlists? Does Bale really need to be on it? Does five games by Oxlade-Chamberlin really justify him making the list? Has Danny Wellbeck done anything whatsoever this season to justify his inclusion, particularly when our young midfielder Pilkington has scored more goals in less games? Why no Newcastle, Swansea or Norwich players included? It's just complete and utter bollocks and must have taken the FA all of thirty seconds to draw up. Pathetic in it's extreme.
Ha that was a great sum up of holt. made me laugh! It is a good true artical, Holt i think looks like he has been a prem striker for years! has definitly inproved his game and also my wife noticed he has lost weight. i dindt realise his shots to goals ratio was better than rooneys!! WFLGH
Scott Sinclair has been great again this season, Kompany probably best consistent performer all season. No James McLean on young player either, how old is he? If he qualifies for young then it's criminal that he isn't included.
hmm, not sure about sinclair. don't rate him myself and think he's had a quiet season - scored some penalties as usual but overall nathan dyer has been far better for swansea though been a bit quiet recently. agree with james mclean though - i know he hasn't played a full season but the ox has played five games for goodness sake!!! i don't even think rooney has had a great season - he's scored 24 goals (12 penalties) and overall his performances have been average. however, kompany is pure class - should be in the list
Fair enough super, but I meant he had performed better that the ox, I'm sure Sinclair has a few assists. He was quiet against us, I concede that but I thought he had played well in the few swans matches I had seen, and generally looked good on motd.
