Holloway predicts a disaster for us against Newcastle, he reckons "On a huge Aston Gate pitch, I can see Dwight Gayle running riot." http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/08/18/ian-holloway-predicts-bristol-city-v-newcastle/ Ah well, Up the City...
To be fair, despite losing their opening two games, Newcastle are still the heavy favourites in this division and they showed a glimpse of their ability in thrashing Reading. It doesn't allude to it on the link provided, but Holloway actually predicted 3-1, which is perfectly reasonable: http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-newcastle-brighton-and-aston-villa-on-a-roll They won't be daunted by a big crowd at Ashton Gate, having been used to bigger attendances in the Premiership, though hopefully it'll lift our own players a bit. I'll guess 2-1 to Newcastle.
I wish we'd played Newcastle the first game of the season. They will become more cohesive after a few games and with the quality they have, will likely be too good for most teams in this league.
Well I'm not going thanks to Ollie's comments but you must remember that this statement came from a man who once said the only reason he went to Blackpool to manage was because they both looked better in the dark.
