Seen some poster mention this case the other day but couldn't be bothered checking it out. The story relates to allegations that a Peadophile ring is operating in the Aberdeen area involving many high ranking officials from the area and indeed across Scotland. Is it a load of old pish or could there be some truth to it? Any of our Scottish brethern shed any light on it? One of the links on Goggle was to David Ickes website ffs.

I once had a look, as well, Jip - and even watched a forty minute video (here) - and was never fully convinced by the protesters. Careless language tends to put me off and they also had the air of some of those 9/11 zealots who make vast leaps in their reasoning, filling in blanks with scant regard for due process. I'm not saying they're necessarily wrong (the Hollie Greig people), merely that they failed to engage or impress me. Shame. They will tell you that the reason the story is so quiet is because The Establishment is covering it up and that they - the protesters - are the only ones capable of seeing through the obfuscations. Maybe they are. Who knows?
Jip, the reason it is being swept under the carpet is because it involves people in very high office, not just in Scotland but Westminster too. Look at the website, "Hollie demands justice" it will open your eyes. The main person involved in this case has just been given a knighthood-Dame I cannot say the name on here it might cause the site problems. The item on Wiki has been shut down, Face book has been closed to those that support it and people have been banned. It all seems very far-fetched to me. And the coverage seems a bit shoddy and amateurish. Why hasn't this been publicised more?
To be honest Cuckoo, I'm not a big fan of conspiracy theories. But as a parent, and a parent of a disabled child, this has disturbed me. The natural cynic in me wants to dismiss it, but there are a few too many coincidences for it to be nothing.

I tell you something, though: the level of my disillusionment in human beings and in society in general means I would never be surprised to learn that something like this was entirely true. Hollies mother was sanctioned under the mental health act to prize her away from her daughter, only an independant evaluation saved her from that, I could go on for longer but I suggest you read it all for yourself it will have more effect from more literate persons than myself.
