    Have not seen the highlights nor the rest of the game on TP yet. Disappointed in yet another defeat but encouraging comments from the Blackpool manager.

    Blackpool boss Ian Holloway was delighted to escape with all three points and said: “It was a great advert for the Championship. It was two very good teams out there.

    “That was as good a game as I’ve seen this season and it could have gone either way. I was delighted that it’s gone for us.”

    just seen the highlights goal of the game was Aluko's - fantastic swerve pity we got nothing for it.. Amos well out of position for their 3rd and 39 year old Kevin Phillips beats all our defence for their 2nd.. I thought their 1st goal was very well set up.. as was our second..

    Phillips was offside for the 2nd. He had at least a yard on our defence.

    Holloway also said we had 'some seriously tasty players' on our side and he wouldve been happy with a draw, which he said was the deserved result. Wonder which players he meant?

    It was supposed to be humourus, rather than sarcastic, he did play very well.

    Top man OLM for the comment about McShane, he did play well but didn't expect praise from you.
    And I don't know about you but I wish people would drop the wrong info about the Proz £2.6m deal

    I admire his commitment and I'm sure he's a nice bloke, but having seen almost all his appearances for us, I can't get beyond the fact that he has a howler in at least one in every three games he plays.

    Regardless of that, he played well on Tuesday and deserves credit for doing so.

    And island, you're allowed to swear on here, you don't have to pretend.

    Can anyone confirm whether it was him who lost Phillips for the 3rd goal?

    If it was, as I thought in real time, then all this talk of him playing so well is a load of balls.
