Well lads, I can't help but prepare for the summer when you see the weather that we have had recently(some of it anyway).

Where is everyone heading? Hot or cold? Friends or family? How long?

I am going to Portugal for 4 days at the end of May with the lads who I go away with, I am then going to Corfu on July 1st with the girlfriend for 10 days. It now looks quite likely that I will be going to the US of A for an NUFC pre-season game. It sounds mad, but they don't come round often. I will be hoping to go visit family down south for a few days as well. I have finished Uni now until the end of September(what a joke) so I have a lot of time on my hands, hopefully get a lot of shifts at work.

    What about you?

Not much really. Apart from being a lazy ****,.. might go visit the family in Venezuela or my cousins in Mexico, probably 2 to 3 weeks if possible. I'm also planning on working out a LOT to beef ''mi'' self up, hang out with my mates(might go to Newcastle in mid-July for a couple of days) and do the usual.. go shopping, play video games, surf the 'net, watch TV, read, write/draw and hopefully play more football(outside with mates), 5 a side y'know?

unsure to be honest. was considering a holiday with the girlfriend, a long week together seeing as we hardly see each other. money situation will probably be difficult though.
with this in mind, does anyone have any suggestions/advice on a decent/cheap enough holiday for a young couple (19) looking for somewhere thats preferably warm, with a decent nightlife (ie some nice pubs, not too british, nothing clubby like) and still plenty to do in the day time such as visits to places etc. we've been looking into it loads but sort of halted of late due to money situations, would be my first holiday away without the parents too ha.

Yeah have had a bit of a gander on the internet. Travel agents would be a good one. <ok>
Just wondering if people have any advice from personal experience too i suppose, what with most, if not all, travel agents sites obviously saying nothing about the price from holidaymakers personal experience.

I'm not going anywhere. Moving for university in July, have to pay a good amount in deposits and rent for that which will drain my very slowly accumulated dole until student finance kicks in a few months later, unless I have more luck getting a job any time soon.

the outskirts of Barcelona are generally cheapish Salou I think its called easy access to Barca.
Majorca is also good for what your looking for as it isn't roudy and is very relaxing with links to anywhere you would want to go really.

I haven't been abroad that many times so dont really know anywhere else hoped it helped a little <ok>

Not fancy a caravan holiday? Some nice vans in the Bamburgh area and nice views and pubs to go to with it. I think one of the guys on here has been before and spoke well of it.
