    Hello,

    I have just joined and hope to add a bit to the debates on here. I have recently returned to Mexico although I am from Herts. Hopefully this site should be a good way to keep in contact with news surrounding my beloved team.

    So to kick off, do you think our strickers can help guide us up the table?

    Personally I think so, ok so we lack a bit of depth but in my humble opinion Deeney and Garner will form a good partnership. For those who went, was there any evidence of this at the Forest game?

    Deeney is finally playing up top in his position and his work rate is second to none, his finishing will imporve and he's starting to get them in the net. What have Garner's performances been like so far?

    Iwelumo isn't that bad to have on the bench at least he might win a few balls against a tired defence when/if coming off the bench. However, some of the statue performances that I saw at the start of the season didn't fill me with too much enthusiam despite Dyche saying he was not fully fit.

    I don't know too much about the reserves or youth players. Maybe Whichelow can improve and step up after his loan? Is there anyone else coming through the ranks that is a striking prospect?

    The departure of Sordell has left a small void but we needed the £$ from Bolton. Let's move on, our defence and midfield seem solid enough and a good base to build from now.

    So what's going to happen with regards to our strike force????? OPINIONES POR FAVOR !!!

    Sorry Guys. I have had to close the old thread and start this one. I will see if there is any way to remove GC from threads for future reference. It is a shame to have to close a thread completely.

    Start again! Welcome Mexico.
    Your task, should you choose to take it, is to find us a young prolific striker. There don't seem to be any in the UK that we can afford!

    Thats ok, its a shame you cant do that. But there are those people in the world.

    But onto your comments;

    I like Deeney and always have. He has always given 100% effort and creates chances as well as (sometimes) taking them. I just think he needs a little bit more confidence and as he gets games im sure that will come.

    I did worry about Garner, but i think the same issues with confidence need addressing. Also as he and Troy play more games together they should start to create a partnership.

    I would love to see Whichelow do well at Wycome and come back to us buzzing and get a chance to prove himself at the Vic. He offers a lot imo, but he is still young and does need more experience. I tweeted to Andi Weimann earlier after he said he was having a quiet Saturday that he needed games and should come back to us. I stand by this as he was a great asset to us in his two previous stints.

    If, and its a BIG IF, Britt Assombalonga can show the same quality at Braintree that he showed at Wealdstone i would like to see him take another step up the ladder to league 1/2 maybe and then hopefully he can excel there and get a handful of games at the end of the season and break through onto the subs bench for next season.

    About all I can make of that is that you have both soy and tomato sauce in your anus. Is that correct or am I reading this wrongly? ;)
