Said the same thing in the transfers thread earlier on. Contract is up in the summer so test how desperate Blackburn are. We all know their owners know nothing about football so maybe they'll accept a cheap price for him!
Them venky's don't seem to be the smartest owner's and he does'nt have long left on his contract, if we were to go for him now I would say around £8mil top's or wait until the summer and get him for nothing, there will prob be a massive scramble for him if he's available on a free in the summer.
Seems our rival's fans are keen on him going to their respective clubs as well. No doubt if he came to us he would just be "another average british signing". Deffinately worth a punt though, does he play as a striker or attacking mid/winger?
He was left out of the team for there match yesterday, rumours we are in talks with Blackburn already IMO one of the few players in the prem,who we could afford ,and would be available , who could improve us
Not sure, don't really need to add squad players anymore, think phase two of the rebuild should be to buy players who are much better than what we allready have, need two really special players, a midfielder with great vision, and a deadly centre forward. Modric and Van Persie would do the job.
Don't they feed him at Blackburn then? I'd have thought the Venkys would pay the players wages with various chicken products
