Hodgson is the best England manager in 25 years

Discussion in 'The Premier League' started by Hoddle is a god, Jun 14, 2015.

  1. Just look at the stats.

Mousers must be feeling pretty sick right now that they forced their weak-willed owners into sacking him!

He's twice the manager Rodgers is.

    Discuss.

Please don't forget Shteve. He may not have qualified for a major tournament but I doubt there has ever been an England manager who smiled more in press conferences than he did.

...and it's only an "i" away from allowing the word "idiot" (but don't tell PISKIE that, because he'd cream his gusset)!

I thought Glenn Hoddle was shaping up to be a good England Manager until he went all Elaine Drury on the Nation and then started telling disabled people that their disabilities were down to 'Karma'

The amount of cack teams play these days cos there is more little pisspot countries means managers will get better stats and strikers better goal tallies.

Lets look at the world cup. 2 losses against little better than average sides in Italy and uruguay and a hard fought draw against mighty Costa Rica. Yeah, galling that we sacked him.<doh>

So, walk through a group of ****ty teams in qualifiers and as soon as England face any sort fo quality.. can't wait for the Euros <laugh>

  17. Sisu, you'e got to give Roy the benefit of the doubt. He must have been extremely traumatized by the disgraceful way he was treated by you Mousers, so it's little wonder that it took him a little time to settle into the England job and get his confidence back. The World Cup wasn't one of England's finest moments, but I think Roy's over that, plus there's no more Gerrard to **** things up, which is a real bonus. Since then, however, Roy has done wonders, and has proven to you Mousers exactly what he would have been capable of, had your lilly-livered owners stuck to their guns and ignored you whinging Mousers. No way is Rodgers good enough to be England manager; he's too much of a clown.

i will rate him once we have played and beat a decent team, we have gone unbeaten in the euro qualifiers but we haven't exactly played anyone decent yet.

also i do hope all the home nations get to go, so that we can all bet on who gets to come home first !!!!!

also i am arranging for a week/10 day trip to go watch some of the games so looking forward to the euros

  20. To be fair, though, Rodgers hasn't beaten a decent team in Europe, yet.
