Who was who said they thought Hobbs was too young and inexperienced to be captain of City? Oh! I remember it was me! It just shows that occasionally I can be wrong.
I think Jack Hobbs is a walking, talking, football-heading King amongst men. Sure, he did at times earlier in the season look slightly panicked. But he's grown into the role at a rate that is astonishing. He's a human wall at the back. Him & Chester are immensities for us. We must keep hold of them at all costs!
I think you were right to say that at that time. But, I agree he is certainly more of a captain now then then.
