You have to remember Tunchev was never league 1, so it is unfair to judge Mclean compared to Tunchev. If Tunchev didnt have these injury problems he would be in the prem. He is 2 steps ahead of the striker. Would love a Hobbs and Tunchev partnership again.

Your probably right.

After seeing him against Ipswich properly I remembered how solid in defence we we're.

I think we should keep Tunch in the team no matter what, I love how he can just dominate a striker in the 'old school way' without the need for fancy tricks.

Just brute strength and an intelligent mind.

Class.

I always thought that McLean is overrated.

Tunch played him off the park in League one.

I have never seen a Centre Half dominate a striker (who was on about 20 goals at the time) like he did that night.

Mclean would be brilliant if he was another foot taller. He is constantly fouled, but he has one hell of a jump on him.

He's just not what we needed at the time considering we needed a target man to go with Fryatt and it seemed a strange move in the first place. Charlie Austin would have been the more sensible option.

Anyway we're been linked with a £750k move for Hobbs, I would happily take him for that.

Sven would decline a 750k bid.

£750k for Hobbs is a snip. I also wonder how much we want, if we were to sell Waggy. We have to get back at least what we paid.

It seems pretty clear cut that most don't want either to leave, especially Hobbs - it does baffle me.

I also think we should be careful how we 'big up' Schlupp. He is young, will probably get a Carling Cup chance and dependant on who we sign could be loaned out again in the early part of the season. Let's hope he is our new crowd pleaser!

I doubt you'd get him for much less than double that amount to be honest and you probably won't be the only ones interested in him either. I'd be disappointed if Hobbs went for anything less than 1.5 million and I don't rate him anywhere near as highly as a lot of other Leicester fans do. We're a bit short of cover in central defence and it's not as if we need the money so I can't see any point in selling him cheaply.

As for Waggy, personally I'd prefer it if we loaned him out though I don't know whether the player himself would be that happy with such an arrangement. Whatever happens though he needs to play and I'm not sure he's going to get games here.

I'm surprised not many people seem to rate Kamara, I've been really Impressed. I would definitely consider signing him.

He's a free agent so its totally up to him.

He says he want to play in France or the Prem so he'll keep his options open.
