If NP finally goes to Lestra, is he likely come back for Hobbs or go for Gerrard if he is looking to strengthen the centre of defence? For me Gerrard is a better all round defender.

Neither I think he'll go for John Terry who would be the perfect role model for a city like Leicester.

    Lager or Bitter
    Apples or Pears
    Kelly Brooke or Cameron Dias

They're (Hobbs & Gerrard) different animals. The latter is at the top of his game, good in the air but slow as hell and cannot pass. Hobb's can pass, is quicker and could improve his aerial ability. So potential wins it for me, I'd prefer Hobbs.

i would be surprised to see Gerrard leave cardiff in Jan. i think he will see out his contract @ cardiff and leave in the summer. that way he can choose his best option. from what he tweets i expect AG to be back up north somewhere next season. time will tell.

hobbs and chester go together like strawberries and ice cream. imo.

Interesting to hear, the last time I was down Hobbs did not impress me, obviously he has improved over time.

IMO, Dudgeon - Hobbs - Chester - Rosinoir are about as good a back four as you could wish for in the championship. if fit and they keep there form its hard to change them.

But if NP goes, would they be good enough next season in the EPL, assuming his remit is to get them up this season?

for sure they will be good enough for the PL and hopefully for Hull City next season. the way things are looking with regards to NP he will taking gardening tips from Phil Brown. Burnsie says he has heard the deal has hit the buffers as of now Live on Air, so the Thai owners @ LCFC (not known for there patience) may look elsewhere. my hope and belief is that this mess will galvanise an already tight group of players into doing the business for hull city this season. for sure other clubs will now know that Papa Allam is No Fool and is not to be messed with. Unlike the last regime.

This is getting very interesting, but I take my hat off to the Allams for sticking to their principles, if you have a contract you see it out or pay reasonable compensation.

TFT it will be up to Cardiff, I cannot believe they will wait till his contract runs out, they will either offer him a new contract if they want to keep him or sell him.

Gerrard is a better defender than Hobbs, but then again I'm better than Hobbs.

Nevertheless, I doubt Gerrard would want to play for Pearson and I doubt Pearson would want to manage Gerrard again.

If you're better than Hobbs then what are you doing being a ****, go to the club and ask for a trial and prove your worth.

If he says he better than Hobbs, but Gerrard is better that Hobbs, then is TWS better than Gerrard? If the answer is no then no point he goes for as trial.

The idea of Hobbs going from Leicester to us and tghen back again seems daft, so he'd be more likely to go for Gerrard (if he went for either of them at all). Leicester seem well blessed in defence, as some of their fans would have you believe they have the best centre back pairing in the league. Also Gerrard hasn't exactly being tearing up any trees at Cardiff this season, whereas Hobbs has being improving by the game <ok>

Thing is Peltier - Mills - Bamba - Koncheskey are better <ok>

    We need wingers, not defenders.
