They have both been named in the reserves squad for the game against Gateshead tonight. Is anyone going?

Was going but looking at the weather outside I doubt it now.
Fingers crossed they both come through the game ok.
Not ideal conditions for coming back from knee injuries is it?

Speaking out of experience mate trust me, Hobbs does not want to be testing out a re-constructed cruciate on a slippery surface in November.

<laugh> I'm sure that's not what he meant, he has a point though as its not ideal. He's been training for a few weeks though so it's not as if it'll be the first time he's played on a slippery surface recently.

I wouldn't be suprised if they pull either of them out of tonights match, why risk months of re-hab for a reserve game in crap conditions????
Waiting a week longer won't make a difference will it??

I know what you mean, but playing in a reserve match and training are totally different.
Reserve team clogger sliding in on you don't happen at training.

Its going to be a bit of a strange team at the back with Cooper ,Townsend and the goalie all out on loan or injured.
Didnt like the pie last time so not going.

I've just noticed Ash has tweeted Cairney telling him to be careful tonight.

That's Tom Cairney, not Stephen Cairney, who Gwilym Lloyd stated this morning was making his comeback for the reserves tonight.

Surprised Emerton isn't out on loan already, the lads got plenty in his locker. I recognise the others, but who's McCann? Is he a youth player or a trialist?

As I said earlier, if you've had knee problems you would know that its bad conditions to be returning to full contact competetive footy.

It's actually Joe McCann, Ryan Fallowfield and Joel Sutton.
