Does anyone have any hobbies beyond football? I am so boed at the minute because I'm only doing a three day week and as great as that sounded when I took the job I don't get enough money to do anything exciting with my time off! I'm trying to get back into my running as I'm about 2 stone heavier than I was a couple of years ago when I was exercising every day but struggling to get the motivation.

So yeah, anyone got any inexpensive hobbies (avoiding the obvious 'one handed tango' type replies) that they'd like to suggest I try?

I skate, good excercise and I enjoy it. Not for everyone though haha.

Walk a bit, jog a bit and then sprint a bit and then start the process over again until you get your fitness to the level you want it to be. You could always join a badminton or squash club too.

Aside from physical hobbies you could always take up photography. You can pick up some really good digital cameras at good prices these days.

    Skateboarding.

There's also guitar but that don't involve excercise.

Badminton's pretty good for exercise, i used to play it about twice a week and it managed to prevent from getting too fat despite my aversion to healthy foods :) Also, drumming and swimming are great for full body work outs (drumming leads to a few angry neighbours though...)

    I play guitar

I used to have a board and me and a few mates would go up and down the road on it, I would have liked to properly start skating but none of my friends wanted to but I still sometimes watch skate videos online and stuff :(

I played Badminton for a bit with friends, it's good fun and fantastic for mixed social groups as most lasses are up for it too. <ok>
