I'm happy to see that we aren't going to slap a long term contract on any of our staff.. Thankfully it seems that long contracts for players are becoming more of a rarity in the game and I'm glad to see us be a little more sensible in terms of 3 years tops for all staff.. including our manager
I honestly don't get the point of contracts for managers - they're very rarely honoured (by either party). A manager can have a 3 year contract, lose 6 games on the spin, and then get sacked!!! Pointless having a contract. Players, i can understand more, as there is a huge value to their services - but even then they are not always honoured. For me, this is another part of modern football that is a complete farce.
