Anybody on here ever listen to/still listen to Rap music. I still like to listen to the Wu-Tang and Jurassic 5 but thats it really. Although there is white jew-boy called Aesop Rock who's not that bad. 99% of it is ****ing ****e or stupid pish and is for daft middle-class teenage white kids who want to pretend they are black and live in a ghetto. Will be going to see Dizzee Rascal at T in the Park just because he is amazing live. Don't really like his music at all, but will go see someone live if they are good. I ****ing hate The View and don't have any of their stuff on my MP3. Seen them live 5 times though, simply because they can put on an ace gig.
My 73 year old Grandfather goes to me last year when Glastonbury was on TV "That Jay-Z is pretty good" I can't stand him at all but fair play to my Grandad for giving it a go.
A ****in hate jay-z he's so overrated, he just talks **** instead of rappin. Dizze rascal is good altho he's turned into a bit of a sell out recently the view are quality
always loved nwa, mainly because i liked the idea of a white tuechter boy running along to music made by a bunch of black guys from compton i'm coming straight outta maryburgh, like a gunshot.
I used to love listening to it JayZ's first few albums were really good then he started covering musicals Still got loads of Biggie cd's but rarely if ever listen to them at all. Got some Nas cd's from his battles with Jayz about 10 years ago or so - most of the interesting stuff is when two guys are dissing each other in the records. Shyne is quite good too. He was the guy who got sent down over the shooting in the NY nightclub when PDiddy & Jlo were together & got nicked. The album he did whilst in prison was awesome. Half the songs were recorded via him rapping down the prison phone whilst a guy recorded it from his offices Blak Twang from the UK is good. Seen him live a few years ago.
