I see Hines has officially signed for Burnley. A result if you ask me, didn't warrant a new contract. I don't think I've ever seen him cleanly strike the ball!!
Spurs fan in peace here I always thought Hines didn't have all that much about him, but seemed a better prospect than Sears. How would you compare the two?
Sears is a better player, although he had a shocker of a game on the opening day of the Season. He is still young and will get better with time, he is a forward that has been played in midfield by the managers. Would to see him come on as as a sub up top as his pace coould cause harm against tired legs. Hines never did it for me, whilst still a good prospect. Every time he was in a half decent situation he would fluff his lines. It also seems that he came unstuck at West Ham chasing the $$. Rejected a contract offer being greedy, he should have had the brain to realise that he hadn't yet made it and asking for unrealistic wages when the club are cutting back and sorting out their finances. Looks like you boys have a couple of good youngsters yourselves. How do you see you doing this season? Majority of my mates are Spurs, annoying as that is...not sure you will get in the top 4 this time around.
