For the past three decades, the bereaved families and survivors of the tragedy have demonstrated remarkable courage, dignity and resilience. Thoughts are with all those affected by the tragedy at Hillsborough and the 96 fans who will never be forgotten.
All rivalry and banter put aside on a day like today, my thoughts are with the city of Liverpool and nobody should expect loved ones to travel to a football ground and never return home....R.I.P. (and justice for) the 96...
Nice one, Saints Alive. Same thoughts from me. I had the privelege of living in Liverpool for ten years and know what that City is like. Great place and great people. The way you battled to keep this from slipping into the pot hole of history is remarkable. The support you have offered to the families is amazing. My thoughts are with you today.
My mate from Breck Rd took his Nan and three kids to the memorial yesterday. Said it was desperately sad.
Following a hearing on Monday and despite his lawyers opposing an application for a retrial, Duckenfield retrial set for 7th October.
Sorry mate, it didn't show I had a new message. (Still using my phone and things don't work the same)
What a mother ****ing shambles that is. Ridiculous that a bloke can act in such a way and get away with it. ****!
I noticed nobody opened the Hillsborough thread today. 32 years on - Rest In Peace our 96. We will never forget.
Can tell I'm not at work, the dates just pass me by. Temporarily opened it, will close it again tomorrow.
