Sorry if this has already been posted lads as I thought it would already be on here. I think I might be going blind or slightly mad, probably both. Anyway I think this is a great gesture that all Premier League (and FA Cup) games on the Hillsborough weekend are going to kick off 7 minutes after the hour mark to commemorate what happened on that terrible day. Shame I've seen some fans of other clubs not so happy with it, "sick of all the Hillsborough stuff" "Bradford doesn't get this much mention" but they should remember what the people of this City had to put up with and all the lies about what happened for years and years. Anyway, Gone but not forgotten.
As expected, we've had some GC posters trying to use it as a stick to beat us with too. Fair to say, they wasn't here very long I think the seven minute idea is a great mark of respect, I just hope the fans in attendance at all the grounds thinks the same. I'm sure there will be the minority of idiots though.
Had to watch the Bradford city incident recently as part of some advanced fire safety training. The ferocity in which that fire took hold was frightening! Didn't help with the stands being totally wooden back then and old files being stored under them, anyway...Great effort by the other clubs!
It is a 25th anniversary so frankly while all those other clubs did little for the previous say oh 18-20 years of it I think one 25th is hardly asking much. Especially when in a years time they will likely be able to leave us to so it ourselves
