I'm gona stick my neck out and say 5/4 will be available on course tommorow. I think people will see sense and realise an Arc and Derby winner should not be such a big price against a horse who couldn't even win the POW. Plus Class is Class won well today, for Stoute, so that gets rid of all the worrys about the stable form.

I do think SYT will still go off favourite, but not by alot maybe 5/4 and 6/4

Im inclined to agree with you WF, particularly now SMS has had a winner, this is a Derby and Arc winner up against a hype horse, who lost in the POW. He may have been the dogs bollocks in Australia, but hasnt proved he can win big races over here, as of yet.

Workforce is also at an advantage jockey wise, with Ryan Moore in the saddle. I can see Workforce getting the better of him late on, with the uphill finish. Il be up early tommorow and taking the best early price on Workforce

Thanks Shergs! I just cant really see him getting beat- if SYT does beat him I will be the first to put my hands up and say well done and will admit to him being as good as horse as his reputation but at the moment it is all on paper and not on the track where it really counts!!

Ill be surprised if Workforce can beat So You Think at 1m2 to be honest, Workforce won a poor Derby and a poor Arc. Sarafina would have won the race with a clear run and she is no Zarkava. So You Think has won 5 Group 1s and after last time it should really be 6. Evens is a fair price, people think Workforce is too big just because hes a Derby and Arc winner but if you look at actual form, the prices are right, if anything So You Think should be shorter.

And there is no way So You Think will go off 5/4, more chance of him going off 4/7.

Actually, 6 Group 1s So You Think has won, should be 7, will be 7 tomorrow.

    *strict.

should also say that obvioudly 3yr old formlines are different from older horses, but hoping workforce beats this aussie tomorrow might stop the slagings he seems to get for winning a derby impressively and an very good arc.

They don't get it wrong twice eddie I agree but the horse I don't think will be good enough on the day. I won't be suprised if snow fairy gets in the frame aswell as my bet on workforce I will be having a bit of 10/1 on snow fairy huge price

So You Thinks run in defeat last time was better than anything Workforce has ever done and everything went wrong for him that day. If things go smoothly tomorrow you will see the real So You Think and Workforce has no chance against that.

Eddievee....Wow it amazes me how confident you are, it's a tough race to call and I respect SYT is a talented horse, but we are talking about a Derby and Arc winner, and only 5 horses have ever done that double, the likes of Sea Bird II, Mill Reef, Lamtarra, Sea The Stars and most recently Workforce, so only a very talented horse can pull it off. The likes of Nijinsky and Dancing Brave tried and failed, so what does that tell you?

If So You Think wins then fair enough, but your confidence behind him amazes me, considering he lost to Rewilding in the POW. A horse up and til that point hadn't realy proved his class at the top table in Europe. I just feel at the prices Workforce has to be the bet

Interesting, firstly Catty who is Joe?

Anyway, I have backed So You Think at evens today, I think that the race will be run to suit and I don't see Workforce as being a fast enough horse to beat So You Think, and I also think Snow Fairy will need the run. I also find it fascinating that Coolmore are not running a pacemaker, to me that suggests that they are confident of beating Workforce and don't want to make the race more awkward than it needs to be.

If I had to have a banker this weekend it would be this horse, to me today is going to be his optimum conditions and if he is to live up to his billing he will need to win and win well.

Joe is eddieveee's real first name.

Nass I see you differing your bets on different comps on here between WF & SYT is this because you feel the prices are wrong, you hedging your bets, or are you really unsure of the result?

just a slip on the Saturday thread, got Workforce on the mind after rewatching the Arc win. Firmly in the SYT camp today.

Both are fairly price to be honest, and its amazing how the bookmakers have priced the race up. I thought it would be odds on SYT and 15/8 for Workforce.

I had a message from someone from 606 saying they were disappointed that you had to leave the other forum, I shall tell him you are posting here!!

So do you know who 'The Trainer' is then?

Very interesting interview with the guy from stan james on RUK

basically he was saying WF did a piece of work with Class Is Class in the week and worked excellentlyu and also said SMS has been doing a lot of shorter pieces of work with him to try and get some speed into him

    Very fascinating interview

One of my favourite racing quotes is from Berry snr when asked whether he wanted to buy quick horses

"I can get a quick horse to stay a trip but I can't make a slow horse go any faster"

I always found that a great maxim.
