Morning people, another season finishes and I think it's been a fantastic one with many memorable moments for someone who can put their football nastiness to one side and appreciate the game for what it is.

One of my stand out highlights has got to be seeing Ibra in the PL. Class player I've followed throughout his career and he showed that he has still got it, in abundance.

John Terry, the footballer, goes in my PL Hall of Fame as his career comes to an end. A fantastic defender.

A crossroads for Wenger and Arsenal, let's see what the summer brings for them...but the civil war has been fascinating to watch.

Pool seem to be back to their emotional best..aswell as playing some swashbuckling football. I have enjoyed watching them play.

The Foxes and last year's Champs had a great run in Europe and managed to roll their sleeves up and get themselves safe from relegation after it looked like they were going to perform the mother of all collapses in the league...well played

Pep struggling and under estimating the league has been fun to watch too and a part of me wanted to see them fail to get top 4.

Chelsea have had a fantastic season...30 wins out of 38....it was going to take nothing less than a colossal effort and they delivered, worthy Champs

The curtains being drawn on White Hart Lane :emoticon-0106-cryin

Some crazy wonder goals..I went for Andy Carrol's goal for Goal of the season

Was interesting at the bottom too with quality finally catching up with Sunderland after many seasons of fighting the drop. However I've enjoyed watching Defoe do his thing for the Mackems.

Swansea survived the drop and I'm glad because they play the game the right way. Finally got to see Loriente in the PL. Spurs have been linked with him many times in the past and I think it's clear to see the guy knows where the onion bag is.

Lukaku banging them in for the Toffee men and pushing Kane close for the Golden Boot.

As you will have noticed...this is not about jizzing over my own team. It's an objective look at the things we enjoy as followers of the beautiful game.

I'm sure there are plenty more highlights to mention...these are just a few of mine

Good summary. I have decided to take the paragraph about Leicester in a non-sarcastic way <laugh>

From our point of view, the win against Sevilla was definitely a highlight.

From a wider perspective, I felt the final day was dull in terms of stuff to play for with pretty much everything being resolved already and the teams playing for CL places all likely to win.

One of the highlights being completely unbiased and neutral has to be Harry Kane looking at the goal scoring charts last week and thinking **** this and proceeding to score 7 in 2!! Fair play to Spurs for back to back away massacres!

A shout out too to Kante for back to back titles and Conte for being the best of the new big name managers. Disappointing for Pep, Jose and Arsene

Mane and Coutinho have been superb for us a joy to watch, it's pity that both had time off with injury. That Can goal was brilliant.

Away from my club I've enjoyed watching Chelsea, deserved champions solid in defense and great to watch on the attack, Spurs have also improved and work so hard for the manager.

Players of the year I'm going to go Kante and Alderwield both been superb and are the rocks that the foundations of their teams are built on.

In terms of Spurs highlights it has to be going unbeaten at home in our final season at The Lane. We may not have had the desired trophies over the years to celebrate there but we've definitely had the football, we can be a real joy to watch and this season was one of the best for that.
Kane also giving his competition 11 weeks to steal a march on him for the golden boot yet still pulling it all back and winning it by 4 goals in the end was class, scoring an incredible 29 from 30.

Away from Spurs, like Spurlock mentioned, I'm also a massive Ibra fan and so it was great seeing him grace the Prem.

Props to Eddie Howe at Bournemouth, for me he's probably the most talented English manager right now. The Cherries in comparison to the rest of the Prem have a shoe string budget, so to finish in the top half is remarkable and to do it by playing very decent football is also an added bonus.

Buzzing for Crouchy to reach 100 Premier League goals.

AFTV provided great entertainment. I really don't understand why their fans were so arsey though, they wanted change and so after 20 consecutive years of CL football, Wenger's got them EL for next season, ungrateful bastards.

I've seen the news, just had a read.

Pearson seems to be the man in demand, how depressing.

Spurs and Liverpool have played some great football - as did Arsenal when we played Sanchez up front (why did he bring back Giroud).
Chelsea have been immense since Arsenal beat them, and we turned to turds.

I have loved watching Leicester in the CL.

So we can look forward to a summer of who will Sanchez sign for - and who Arsenal won't sign!

    3 months to preseason - can't wait

Well, we're feeling pretty low as can be so Pearson isn't going to set the bar any lower on the depression scale.

The shortlist is going to be pretty low anyway I'm guessing, and he does tick some boxes.

But I haven't got a clue who I want at the minute. If Moyes could find a buyer for the club on his way out of the door, that would be the icing on the cake!

    Saints highlights:

Going to Milan for a couple of days to watch us there. Just over 6 years after they were European champions and we finished 7th in the third tier, I'm at the San ****ing Siro with 7k other Saints watching us play Inter in a competetive match. Mental.

Beating them at St Marys a highlight too.

Seeing some more kids come through. McQueen & Sims seem to have more than something about them and I've been very impressed with how well Stephens has done since Virgils injury.

The efl cup run... the 1/4 final at Arsenal was a cracking night. ****ing freezing but 5,500 Saints fans didn't stop singing.

The semi 1st leg at St Marys was brilliant too, felt like we really rose to the occasion and were fantastic... along with Inter game mentioned above loudest I've heard St Marys for years.

Didn't go to 2nd leg but watched it in empty pub with best mate who's a Pool fan :) although we didn't win it in the end the pure emotion I felt when Long scored at the end will live with me forever.

And of course the final <wah><wah>

Bittersweet of course, but was so proud of my club that day, and have great memories that will live with me for a lifetime...

    Non Saints:

Kane doing the business again, certainly seems the real deal and can only be good for England.

Enjoyed watching Chelsea, class team and so well balanced, joy to watch at times.

Arsenal not making top 4 is a highlight for, about time seeing as their record in it is atrocious.

Glad Burnley stayed up, do things the right way and got a lot of respect for Dyche.

Glad Bournemouth had another good year too. Despite them calling us scum all the time and trying to make a rivalry, can't help but like them and hope they do well.

    Enjoyed Leicesters CL run.

    Good thread <ok>

Couple of Liverpool highlights for me

Arsenal game we won 4-3. Mane's goal and Coutinho probably scoring the best free kick this season in the PL.

Smashing West Ham 5-0 after they'd beaten Spurs. I say that purely because I had my doubts about the game, plus the win made me know we'd get top 4.

A general highlight - Watching our attacking play at the beginning of the season, Couinho, Firmino and Mane were electric together.

    Other PL highlights

Chelsea were excellent. Conte did exceptionally well changing/perfecting his tactics after a poor(ish) start to the season. Going to a back 3.

Arsenal being absolutely clueless from the board to the boot cleaner this season.

Spurs surprised me tbh, however some of their football has been amazing to watch. Poch 9/10

    Paul Pogba.

Leicester doing very well in the CL, they seized their moment fair play. For such a ****e team they did themselves proud.

    Jose's gibberish interviews.

    What do you think? <laugh>

Do you honestly think that a highlight of a Liverpool fan would be claiming a bang average player has had an excellent season?
