So having lost John Ward to Rovers........(never go back it rarely works John...1993/6)...... PAFC tell us he was one of 20 quality applicants. Pull the other one PAFC.......I doubt if many of them were up to leading Carl Fletcher by the hand....allowing Brents unsinkable manager to bask in any glory that might come from such a union.

Takes more than that to insult me Joe, I've been insulted by experts. It's just hard to keep up with ALL of Plymborn's negativity. We all know things aren't good but there's no need to make it worse by picking at every little thing until there's nothing left but bone & skin. We'd attracted and selected a man for the somewhat nebulous job of D of F who it turns out is considered good enough actually to manage another club. Not exactly good news as we didn't get our man but not the worst possible outcome - like appointing a complete duffer. PS We are now of course in the situation where whoever is appointed will be seen as second best by every man & his dog. That is unfortunate and I bet Plymborn has already been sharpening his poison pen on that one.
Stop moaning about saying i insulted you. I am an expert! He is putting his valid point across, its not negative.. Its TRUE I feel we need some one a bit more known than Ward. No idea who but needs more involvement also instead just sat in the stands
I've just suggested to plym that he starts one thread and sticks to it called "plym's rantings". It's a lot easier that way and we don't have to repeat posts all over the place. I think he deserves his own thread he's earned it. I agree he isn't being over negative. It IS negative at present and shows no signs of improving either. Maybe 9 points over Christmas and New Year may go some way to easing the angst. Yeh I know, fat chance. You also have to remember that notdistant wears a suit to work so automatically has the skin of a Rhino with an Armadillo overcoat as back up. Insulting him is like trying to dent a tank with a jelly. Mind you if you've ever seen my wife's cooking.......
