This has been confirmed on twtd. I'm happy with this, Mossi clearly hasn't done enough in training and isn't up to this level. He is also a trouble maker As for Higgs we do need another cb to push Chambers and Smith so that's fine. Although I thought the idea of him coming on loan was to play games and not warm the bench, which is what he has been doing so am not sure what that says for him. ... DJ next please Mick
" Mossi clearly hasn't done enough in training and isn't up to this level. He is also a trouble maker " haha, sounds like a 13 year old telling his mummy someone is picking on him! Cracked me up that. Are you sure he is!? Personally I'm gutted Higg's is staying- past it and wages won't be cheap.......... On the subject of trouble makers, or players who may be a pain behind the scenes, do you think McCarthy may let Chopra and Carson go in January? If we could get anything for Carson I'd cash in now sadly. I think he could be the next Ryan Jarvis....
Seems sensible to me, although it would've been nice to see a bit more of Moshni!! It seems like McCarthy is trying not to disrupt the squad too much, which I think is a good thing, he could quite easily probably have came in and changed alot in January. I'd imagine ideally he'd like to keep Orr and DJ on loan until the end of the season rather than signing them permanently in January and will probs offer NRC another contract until the end of the season. I haven't been overly impressed by Orr although his defensive positioning is much better than Edwards and he seems fairly solid if uninspiring. I'd imagine unless Blackburn want him back which is a possibility now they've changed manager, MM will try to get him until the end of the season and review at the end of the season, hopefully Hewitt shall be really pushing for a 1st team spot by then!! I can't see us keeping DJ, unless we somehow manage to extend his loan, as I'd imagine we'd struggle to pay his wages, QPR will probs want him back and if not I'm sure there are clubs higher up than us who would be interested in his services!! I'd also imagine NRC will sign a contract until the end of the season, I can't imagine he's on ridiculous wages otherwise we wouldn't have signed him, I can't imagine on current form too many clubs would be interested in him, so I'm sure he'd be willing to stay and really he can only get better and has shown in the past what a quality player he can be at this level and above!!
You have quite an imagination ptc, three "imagine"s in that final sentence/paragraph! I'm happy with this news, definitely need backups in defence and Higgs can do a decent job as cover. Shame we didn't see much of Moshni, can't really judge him but for whatever reason it didn't work out. I trust Mick on this one
