Three lines in Higgs statement yesterday stood out to me: 1) We will be making a number of announcements over the next few weeks. 2) There are critical decisions that need to be made in the best interests of the club. 3) Radical changes need to be made. What decisions / changes do we already know about? Players getting released was always going to happen as we had a lot who were out of contract. Deciding on these players would not be 'critical decisions'. Getting rid of these players cannot be classed as a 'radical change'. This was always going to happen regardless if we stayed up or went down. New signings will happen to replace the players we let go. Deciding on these players would not be 'critical decisions'. Getting rid of these players cannot be classed as a 'radical change'. This was always going to happen as well. Clarke is still manager and Ward is still DoF. I would of expected decisions be made on them before decisions made on players. The fact that Clarke and Ward is still here im sure they both will remain in place for the start of the new season. So 'no change' there either. Higgs has said UWE Stadium will still go ahead as planned. So 'no change' there either. Bristol Rugby are still leaving mean the The will be used just by Rovers. So 'no change' there either. What is left that the board to make critical decisions on? What changes is left for the board to make that is radical? Obviously we will find out when the announcements are made but what do you think it could possibly be?
