Koeman won't take it now. He's got something amazing going here. The Dutch FA had the chance to go for him before he came here.

There are 2 ways to look at this:

    1. As Lambie and Tom have said, Koeman will honour his contract with us and make Southampton the first team to successfully defend the Champions League.
    2. Failing that, Les has had Joachim Löw on the phone and terms have been agreed.

I have seen at least 3 or 4 videos and articles that Ronald has said he wants to be the Dutch manager some day. He wanted to be the Dutch manager last season, but was not selected. He has said in the articles and videos that he's now with Southampton and has a contract to fulfil, which he wants to do, if the club are happy to keep him.

    Media agitating again.

Yes can you stop looking now please?

Koeman has said several times that he won't take the Dutch job while he is under contract with Saints. For my own sanity I am going to believe him.

I hate the Mirror. They are able to fabricate absolute lies to suit their anti-Saints agenda and no one challenges them. Where is the tiniest shred of evidence that Southampton are "worried"?

Journalism in this country is a farce.

I believe Koeman is a person who would be true to his word.

I reckon we should have a thread titled "Complete Bollocks" and any story we find that we think is bullshit goes in the thread. :)

<ok> That sort of integrity is rare quality these days, but yeah, I'd be willing to bet Ron has it.

Gullit said everyone thought Koeman would get the job last time and he implied Ronald was angry when they went for Hiddink instead. RK, said when asked recently, that he had a contract here and Holland had missed the boat. Remember he is young enough to get another go at managing his country and he is having success here in the PL. Not worried.

It's bull, by contract and agreement, Danny Blind will be the next manager. The KNVB made that arrangement when they signed on with Hiddink. It clearly states that Blind will take over when Hiddink resigns or when his contract runs out in 2016.

I would have gone for Pep Guardiola, at least he would have brought the Barca style of play.

Just like Koeman, these managers from out of the blue have to say Yes Please, when offered. Lots of them say No Thanks.
