    Utd fan in peace. Just joined this forum too!

    I have a friend that thinks Charlie Adam could become world class and COULD be as good as Xavi, Scholes and Alonso. I told him he's a pillock. Do you all agree with my clueless friend?
    I'm not doubting Adam's ability; at times last season he shown that he does have talent. But to say he could be as good as Xabi Alonso (who is a world class midfielder) is just going way too far.

    Tell me, when did Xabi Alonso become a world class player? Was it while he was still playing for us or was it after joining RM?

    And no, I do not believe Adam will be as good as Alonso, but I do think he will do a job for us.
