HEIDAR Helguson has been ruled out of QPR's Premier League clash at Aston Villa on Wednesday.

The Rs striker aggravated a groin strain during the 1-0 home defeat to Chelsea in the FA Cup this afternoon, and was forced to come off at half time.

The 34-year-old was a doubt before the game, but was named in the starting line-up after passing a fitness test only to sit out the second half with Federico Macheda taking his place up front.

Boss Mark Hughes admitted Helguson's situation was far from promising.

"We'be been trying to manage it all season to be fair, and it flared up again during the game," he said.

"At this stage, it's got to be very doubtful he will be fit for Wednesday."

Bad news because Macheda looked poor today - in fact, Hulse looked better than him.

Yes I hate even to mention Tevez because of obvious cost but PSG do appear to have lost interest at least until the summer.

Tevez is desperate to play - his agent is Kia Joorawotsis who also represents Sparky - is it even remotely possible a four month loan might be hammered out before Tues?

Watching the Derby vs. Stoke game - the commentator just indicted Derby really need a striker - maybe they would like to have their hero Rob Hulse back - we could perhaps exchange him for their tricky winger Jamie Ward?

A sneaky loan bid last minute, could happen.

Bad news about HH - but I don't see Tevez in a Hoops shirt as probable. Wouldn't say no, but how close is MH to Kia Joorawotsis - is it really close enought to make this happen

I think if Tevez watched today's match he'll stay on the Buenos Aires golf course!...

We need another premiership quality striker pronto.
Or maybe we should just buy another 4 or 5 championship quality strikers and keep rotating them until one of them comes good.

I thought Macheda would be a good signing but he was dire today. Hulse looked better.
