Alright guys, followed the original 606 and now this one for quite a while, never got round to making an account though...until today! Look forward to getting to know you and talking about all things Leeds! By the way, great performance last night, everyone looked brilliant.
Hey Kiwi, welcome fella. We're a friendly lot, we love our banter here, but not as much as our frisky Fridays...
Kiwi, Im stuck on the South coast, and work most Saturdays, so don't get to many games Watched last nights game on the telly, well impressed last night; to think Becchio can't make the starting eleven.
Welcome Kiwi! I went to it. Bloody proud of the team and the way Grayson's got them performing over the last few games. All of yesterday's starting players were from the British Isles which is nice to see and you can sense the commitment in players like Snodgrass, Keogh, Howson, Clayton and Lonergan, among others. They are clearly all enjoying their time at United and I certainly don't think there's another Championship team with a similar sort of mood among its players. I like to think that if push came to shove, they'd stay loyal to Leeds. Maybe I'm being naive there. The performance was superb and thank God our defence is starting to gel as well. I've had my doubts about Keogh and thought that the attacking four of Becchio, Gradel, Howson, Snodgrass last season was never going to be bettered this time round, but we're now scoring on average two goals a game. Last season it was 1.8. So 4-4-2 is clearly paying off for us and long may it continue. McCormack's overhead kick was twice as good as Rooney's too for what it's worth. Just can't get enough of that man.
thanks for the welcome guys not from far away, and while i do enjoy the fruit, i believe the real reason is kieran wilkinson, had it as a nickname for as long as i can remember! Glad we looked so good last night, the fact Becchio can't make the first team is almost a joke, but McCormack and Keogh look so good together! and to think we still have two full (albeit Finnish) internationals on the bench as well...things are looking good!
