"I am hoping the chairman (Paul Scally) will speak to Barry Fry (Peterborough director of football) and whether they would like to come to us remains to be seen." Is it me or does this seem that like many of the fans Hess is also losing faith in Scally? With Hess only 'hoping' Could another club legend become fed up of the man and leave? Like past players and management have done in the future? Thoughts? UTG!!
clearly hess is hoping that scally will up the offer but by the sounds of it its completely in scallys hands whether he does or not. come on scally bring in whelpdale and lee and prove to people it will be worth buying season tickets etc, show a bit of intent and the fans will respond
Any situation like this gets out of hand as the selling club start to play one off against the other, £50000 becomes £75000 then £80000. Sad thing is we wasted money on Jackman that could have financed this deal.
I think we paid about £60000 for Jackman (god did they see us coming) I would expect somewhere between £60000 and £100000 each for these 2.
