    If we want to turn our fortunes around, this is surely the opportunity. We'll have to get there quick before some big clubs step up though...plus we don't have CL to offer, and no management. Do you think this will blight our chances of getting him?

    If we don't, I might as well cancel my Sky Sports subscription...

    Since I felt like mentioning Downing's stats <whistle>

    Although Modern wingers typically chip in with a few goals as they don't just hug the touchline like the old fashioned wingers.

    Carroll's currently got 39 in 136 appearances (club and country). That is a ratio of a goal every 3.49 games compared to Heskey's 4.78 <ok>
