According to one sunday news paper SGE has made a bid for big EH. LCFC & AVFC have agreed a 600,000 quid deal...

... BUT, you knew it was coming, LCFC are at odds with EH over his wages demands.

Take a wage drop EH & come back to wear the blue of LCFC again dam you.

No doubt he's a City legend but ill be honest and say I don't want him back, we need someone who can fire us in to the Premier league; Bruno is not that man!!!

have to agree crossx77, i think his best days are behind him now, and he is not the man to score the goals we need.
im pretty pleased with our signings up to now, but we def do need another quality striker, but def do not want the yak back, not at any price. I would have liked Routledge too if im honest, but it looks like svens interest has cooled on him somewhat, and he may be off to florist unfortunately...................

Nugent and Heskey? Would it work?

Having Heskey back might have the same effect that Dean Windass had for us when he returned.

It could have the effect but if it doesnt it we will be paying alot of money in wages while Windass was a low risk for you as his wages wasnt too high

Since i became Mod i have rarely done anything. And already Emilio has been very busy. He has probaly done more then me already.

2 Mods make to place better, i have been at work all morning so i only caught the end of the idiots post. So with both me and Emilio the place will be a better run. With the season set to start soon this place will get even more busier

I think you can afford the risk.

    <whistle>

Always good to have returning hometown boys.

I remember being at Selhurst Park when Windass returned, what a great feeling!

I hope you get Heskey back to get the same feeling.

I remember back in the league 1 season a few days before the season started we re-signed Paul Dickov, that was great back then, he may not of done alot for us that season but all the City fans loved him. We hated him when he left and then instantly loved him again. He helped Matty Fryatt alot that season and helped him became a bit of a fox in the box

Windass helped Campbell in a similar way.

Heskey coming back to you will surely be better than Dickov, Emile being from Leicester. Deano was/is one of us so it was really fitting when he got the goal at Wembley.

It very rarely works though people returning. We also had Steve Guppy return and he wasnt the same. Still had a great cross on him though. Heskey is a Leicester legend for what he did for us on and off the pitch and returning he may not live up to what he has with could taint so memories the fans have of him so he may not return for that reason.

Or he might be the key to promotion! Think how you'd feel on the last day of the season celebrating promotion with Heskey celebrating with you.

Sometimes you have to make to right decision and not a decision based on emotion. Getting Heskey back may be the right thing to do but thats down to Sven. Heskey has always played well with Michael Owen next to him but he struggled with someone else next to him, weather he could link up with Nugent, Waghorn, Yakubu who knows

Simple solution, you can show incredible ambition by Sven pairing Heskey with Owen again as your strikeforce.

Surely the only thing stopping you would be the cash, which shouldn't stop you at all. Having Heskey and Owen upfrontwould send out a BIG message and also create lots of publicity for your owners.
