Crouch on the bench, Whelan and Ethers ill and injured, Jones and Fuller starting as is DAIO. Seems like we may not be 'going for it' this afternoon. I hope I am wrong but I fear 2-0 to Chelsea

It`s impossible to select a worse team than he has today!! It sounds like Chelsea are there for the taking and I cannot believe the `dross` he`s sent out there.I must admit, I think he`s lost it. I feel so sorry for those fans who have travelled down there, no wonder Potts has finished going to away games. I can`t bear to listen to it, that`s why I`m on here now!!

All a bit harsh.... Apart from Diao being in, and Pennants absence, that was a decent setup.

Pistol - you really think so? What is the point of playing a six foot 4 Centre forward when there is no one to cross the ball? Why pick a man who has not scored an EPL goal in 8 months when you have a guy with 5 goals in 12 games sitting on the bench?
Why leave an £8m midfielder on the bench and pick a 35 year old has been?
In my view that is just over 25 % of the team selection that is fairly stupid - remember from a man who professes to pick a team "to win". The starting 11 have managed 11 goals between them in the EPL this year, and the manager's approach is to pick a defensive midfield, against a team that had kept one clean sheet in 12 matches.
Same result as always with TP, an away defeat at one of the bigger clubs, without ever threatening to score. I do not think anyother side in the EPL would knock on PC's door and ask about the avaiability of TP - do you?

Sorry Pistol, I see that you have answered some of my queries on another thread - we are not far off the same view I think, although you may be prepared to give TP more of a chance than me. I just think that he has outgrown his usefulness to take us forward.
