Putting aside the arguments about his ability, half the ground intensely disliked him as a player. He has very little management experience and not a particularly great record in the little he has done, he will only need to lose a few in a row and all hell will break loose. My opinion is this is a very poor appointment.. I was disappointed with Cotterill but in comparison to this it was genius. I was proved wrong last time but this has all the hallmarks of a disaster to me..
Couple of bad results and the knives will be sharpened. Do you think SL realises or gives a **** what the supporters think about this appointment.
I am beginning to wonder.. When this news broke yesterday as many of you would, I had lots of texts / chats etc with fellow City fans and was amazed at the amount of 'no season ticket for me next year' responses, if we go down over this I fear for the board...
I am gobsmacked by this appointment! I don't write on here often because I simply don't have the time but with this news I had to bite the bullet. I was always one of those that thought quite a lot of Lee as player, someone who took a load of ****e from some members of the crowd but simply rose above it and got on with his job. As a manager/head coach I always thought he would come back at some time but now is NOT that time. We do not need someone as inexperienced as he is in the situation we are in - its as simple as that!! After all the crap put out by the hierarchy about a someone to take us forward this is what we get. I AM NOT HAPPY
Lies, lies and more lies and it is brutal to se Lee Johnson become Steve Lansdown's next sacrificial lamb. This decision is one of many slaps in the faces of long term supporters and the saddest part of all is the owner doesn't give a flying duck about us as long as he can continue down his own path. Selfish, self centred tosser in my books.
