Since the last season in League 1....Hero: Scotland , huge impact all the way to the top and .£ for £ the best money ever spent imo...Unsung hero : Mark Gower , I dont think Martinez could get enough money to retain Paul Anderson our first season in the Champioship and one of his first signings as we entered the Championship was Gower on the free ( I think )Took a lot of ribbing from within but played a HUGE role getting us to the Premier imo , always on the cheap and without fanfare ...A bit of both : leon Britton : few thought he would become one of the best defensive midfield players in the Premier but he's almost all Swan fans favorite son these days ... hard to choose with many players playing big roles over a half a dozen seasons or so , but these are mine .

    1) Hero - Ashley Williams (Could have had; Scotland, Bodde, Leon, Michu, Bony)
    2) Unsung Hero - Marcos Painter (or De Vries, Gower, Pratley, Luke Moore, Chico, De Guzman)
    3) Bit of both - Angel Rangel (Joe Allen, Nathan Dyer, Neil Taylor, Ben Davies)
