If I were Mick I would take the Villa job all day long. He's not going to get financially backed here - nor is any other manager and with the finances the yoyo sides have - the prospect of Newcastle coming down.... it's looking more and more difficult every year for a manager of a team that doesn't spend much to succeed. Mick or no Mick our transfer policy is unlikely to change in terms of spending a decent fee on anyone. Sure, a new manager may bring in a few more ballers but we'd have to offload tonnes / bring loads in and blow a lot more ££££ that way. Not feeling massively upbeat about all things Ipswich Town fc. Hoping we beat Wolves, Wendy and Derby bottle the weekend then I can buy in to this season a little more.
