    He gets himself into good scoring positions but really, his touch is not good at all. Would much rather prefer someone else.

    EDIT: Danny Ings certainly won't be coming here......just announced on the BBC he is off to Liverpool (no surprise there then)

    Like Owen, but much, much worse. Not only that, but he's still miles above our level of ambition. We might sign Patrick Bamford. On loan.

    Worse that Owen? <laugh>

    Owen spent about 7 of his last 8 years in football recovering from injury, surely anybody is an improvement on that.

    Hernandez would have jumped at the chance of joining Newcastle about 10 years ago if we told him he was surplus, can't see it now.

    Not for me. He is a good goal scorer but in our current situation he would be a bit too luxury. Just think we have different priorities in terms of what we need.
