What is the point in him? How did he ever score 15 goals in a season? He's a decent header of the ball but he's never in the box. Some of the balls Elmo and Brady put in today were just wonderful but where was our £10m centre forward? I've never seen us create so much without having a single decent shot.

He looks stranded on his own up there. Also why do we work to keep the ball, pass it to the keeper who then hoofs it forward to lose the ball again? Happened several times today.
with his pricetag he's going to be under scrutiny, I think he has a good touch but needs a second striker with him aka Jelavic
Tad harsh. The likes of Drogba & Suarez had slow starts in the Premier League, it's a difficult league to adjust to. It's especially difficult when you're completely stranded up front when he's clearly not a lone striker. I thought he looked dangerous alongside Jelavic. He's still managed 3 and I reckon he'll get 7-12 this season, and I'm certain he'll get more than Long.
Long showed what we're missing today. Got in behind us twice and forced a good save from Jakupovic, Hernandez didn't make one decent run all game. Really hope I'm wrong but I think he's gonna be the next in a long line of striker flops at City. I used to play as Hernandez on a video game and he was really quick. I'd hoped he might be similar in real life but he just really isn't.
Hernandez is lazy....doesnt run the defenders down or try going for hopeful balls....said at the time we'd have better paying the extra for Rhodes !
He just does not look like a 10M striker, seems a bit lightweight and as PLT says does'nt make decent runs.
Who 'built him up'? I'm guessing I'd seen him as much if not more than most before we signed him and I said he was WELL over priced and distinctly average.

People need to understand that Hernandez is not long, you don't get the same runs that long makes, but what you do get is a player who puts the ball in the back of the net, admittedly he is a much better player when player with jelavic but honestly guys get a grip

He needs someone up there with him. He needs some one to feed him, he won't be able to hold the ball up and play other people in.
