You would of thought we were talking about Neymar or a player who had a great overall game. There is no doubting he has great poacher instinct and movement but is there anything else to his game? His passing is poor, his shooting is quite poor, his dribbling is poor, his touch is awful and he has no technical ability. He is a player who will get sussed soon enough if he starts most games as teams will just stop playing so high up the pitch and just stay deep. To me he is a great impact sub and should only be that until he adds much, much more to his game as it is far to average/poor. He is a nice guy and genuine good poacher but to say he is a good footballer is ridiculous as he is very limited. The worrying thing is, he may become a starter and a number 2 with Berbatovs inevitable departure. I fear we could struggle next season with such a limited one dimensional player.

That is a lie. I said he was **** and you said 'he is there to score goals, and he does, so he is good'. Now you are saying the opposite. He is very limited though, he can not pass the ball to his own teammates very well and that is important in any game of football. Also, I think his positioning is crap, but I suppose that will improve with time.
Several times this season we have seen a long ball played over the opposition defence which is collected by Hernandez with an excellent first touch, having perfectly timed his run as he goes on to finish lethally. This involves perfectly timing his run (i.e. good positioning), outpacing the opposition, an excellent first touch and excellent finishing. We have also seen crosses into the box that look like leading to nothing only for Hernandez to expertly head the ball into the net when it looked impossible. This involves good positioning, a good leap above the opposition defence and excellent finishing with his head. Hernandez scores a large percentage of chances that come his way so how can his finishing be poor? Hernandez gets on the end of the majority of moves so how can his positioning be poor? He shows great control to take down a long ball from the defence/midfield and finish so how can his touch be poor? Just because Hernandez doesn't play pretty passes or do some stupid stepovers doesn't mean that he has limited ability. His job is to score goals and he is better at this than most. Ruud Van Nistelrooy was essentially a poacher and very similar to Hernandez yet not many people think that he is/was crap.
I have changed the comments. Calm down Also, Hernandez is offside quite alot meaning he is not useful. This happens in quite a few games, so I come to the conclusion that his positioning is not good, but I also said that will probably improve in time. His passing is bad though, don't deny that one. The amount of times he gave it to Torres, he could of actually scored if it was someone who was actually good at scoring!
Hernandez is a great poacher and has great movement but his touch is poor. Have you not seen such a touch. Honestly Obertan has a better touch.
