Chicharito was on form for Mexico again last night scoring 2 and creating one as Mexico thumped Cuba 5 0 in the Gold Cup. That takes Hernandez up to 5 goals and one assist 2games into the tournament. He now has 19 goals in 25 games for his country.

He scored an emphatic header, set up Do Santos for a goal and completed Mexico's rout with a volley.

    Amazing record for his country.
I'm a big fan of hernandez and it's good to see him banging in goals!

Great little player. Kamran and Nolhman however still think he's crap.

Shows how little they know tho.

Debut season and bangs 20 goals in. He's clearly worked hard and rapidly improved over the course of the season.
Him and Rooney have formed a great partnership upfront.
People say hernadez all round game isn't as good but he's not the kind of player to drop deep n create goals, he's like a micheal owen. Always in the right place at the right time and a top quality finisher.

I think he can only get better and when I get the new united shirt the name on the back will read chicarito.

Thing I laugh at is when people talk about him only scoring easy goals and they ignore the intelligence, movement and postioning required to put him in the position to score those 'easy' goals.

Good to see him getting his confidence back up after the frustration he must have had against Barca. Hopefully Mexico's bid for the Gold Cup won't be derailed by half their team testing positive for drugs... <doh>

Scored another header. His movement is a class above that means he wins things in the air, 'cause he's the only player within 5 yards of the ball. I'm sure learning from Owen will be helping him, would love to have seen him here when solskjaer was still around the ground.
