I believe the man stated "BRITISH SIGNINGS" and no foriegn imports!

Utter tosh, and i aint gotta clue about anything to do with the player, position and if hes any good...

This rumour sounds unlikey, doesn't it.
 
I would have thought it was just no incoming players who currently play abroad due to them taking longer to adapt to the Premier League. We do already have players who are not British such as Jackson, Whitbread etc
 
I haven't had that sort of conversation for years :)

Not sure if it's because I'm older and wiser, or just that I've turned into a boring old fart! <laugh>

That's almost exactly what Lambert said. He doesn't care about people nationalities, he said he hasn't got time to let import players adapt to the British game so wouldn't be signing anyone from abroad just yet. That would be a move further down the line once we are established.
