Why not all the pro/don't care either way types (that's you lot in the majority), ask Dr Allam for a referendum of all the season pass holders ? That way youd'e have shut all the moaning anti name changers( that's the few of us in the minority), up once and for all . I know,i know,it was staring us in the face all along
AA is not interested in hearing any alternatives. Hull Tigers will work because he says it will. He feels he doesn't need to prove anything, nor does he want to.
The OSC was going to organise a vote all supporters at the Chelsea match. The club said if they did they'd lose all their privileges.
This is true, but at least we(the supporters) would know where we stand. It would shut that CTWD lot up...wouldn't it ?
It wouldn't. CTWD are as unwilling to be told no as AA is. Can't fault them for trying though, respect and credit where it's due they've certainly done more than I could have imagined.
It would have to be an independent body to organise such a vote, otherwise the conspiracy theories would do all our heads in.
Let there be a referendum Dr Allam, we live in a democracy, one that has served you of all people, very well indeed.
Anyone could do an effective poll of season ticket holders by handing out slips to be deposited in buckets etc. at half time/full time for the next few matches asking for nothing more than your seat number and opinion on the situation. These results could then be sent off to the FA who could check it against the clubs database and filter the adult season tickets out to get true results. The club will not participate with any poll so its the only way I can see it could be done. Either that or boil entrees stand at each entrance for all the remaining home games asking season ticket holders and checking the card for proof/writing details down, but I doubt most would be willing to fart about or share ther personal details with strangers so the results of that would probably play into Mr. Allams hands with minimal participation being interpreted as people not caring.
Of course the bloody club would participate Bob ! Dr Allam is the club, and he said the no name changers are a minority. So a vote will prove his case, won't it ???
personally, I don't care about the name, as long as there's a club to support. I don't care what division we're in either. meh
If everybody thought like you Patty & didn't care about the name we wouldn't have the problems we have now because billions of Asians & Africans would accept us as simply Hull City AFC, The Tigers. They wouldn't be demanding the change before they buy a fake shirt from Raj's Emporium in Mumbai.
Would you need a food licence or a peddlers licence to boil entrées at the entrance? What entrées would you have? Would they be better than our pies?
