Once again, the green army are marching in impressive numbers and have filled the allocation at hereford (before I could consider getting a ticket) and im wondering whether it would have been in the clubs best interests to open up 1/3 or half the ground to visiting fans. realistically we could have made up half of the attendance, especially with it being a holiday and with Hereford's possible cash flow problems you wonder if it would be more viable to have a bumper crowd but lose the home advantage?

This league must be hoping Argyle survive this season given the numbers taken to away games. The worst attendance away is probably around 450 with the best around 1300 so far. Looking at the numbers we get in return Argyle must be way out in front of away contingents in this league and that exceeds all of the promotion contenders as well.

yuppy, I just would have thought hereford would take a big pay day and give us 500-1000 more tickets to sell (I would think we'd sell them!)

I would certainly offer as many as we could sell if I were them. Even if we could only get rid of another 100 or so it is money in their bank.

Ohh crap just seen, was planning to go to this one but not looking likely now. Any news on extra tickets or is it still a sell out.

As far as I know the away tickets are a sell out. Quite how many Hereford have sold to their own I have no idea. You may well get into the ground but it may not be in the away end.

The ignorance of some people never ceases to amaze. I don't know about you but I don't quite feel we have gotten away with anything at all. I have not heard anyone on any of the Argyle forums say once that they are happy that local businesses missed out money wise and I've certainly not read any gloating about it. I think a wee bit of sour grapes is creeping in.

Quite the reverse Sensible, I've heard of fans trying to think up ways of making it up to local suppliers who lost money ..... I remember when we played Hereford in a friendly many seasons ago they smashed the windows of the team coach, they'll be tellng us next that it was because they knew we were going to go under lol
