With less than 1 week before our game against Colchester , the new season is nearly with us and for the next 9 months my life will be back to normal. At the moment their is great opportunism around the club despite the poor-ish pre season , I hope and also think that we will do better than our last two years in league 1 and stay up ( hopefully quite comfortably ) I think it is important everyone remembers that this is our average league over all the years as Gillingham FC and we have only ever gained promotion out of this league once .
