Hi all, My first job as moderator is to take an idea that was mooted on another thread, and start the ball rolling..... From today, here is where Northolt and I will try to place any news stories, of interest, to QPR fans. I'd like to think that this could be the one-stop-shop for news items. Should YOU find an article, please post here, for the attention of others. We can keep the other threads for discussion of any afore-mentioned gossip, news or downright lies! COYR's! Mango
Here is the news.... In remarkable developments today, a major figure in the BBC 606 hierarchy landed in Not606-land and immediately requested asylum. The true identity of the high-ranker (I think that's right) is being kept a secret, but he is being referred to as aerospacemango. He is quoted as saying "It got to the point where I just couldn't continue under such an oppresive regime, and I need the space to speak my mind without fear of reprisals." His whereabouts are not known, but rumours place him currently staying in a safe-house somewhere in Northolt. Sir Alex Ferguson caused shockwaves throughout the Premiership this morning, when he praised the performance of the officials in Manchester United's last game. "Martin Atkinson" the dour Scot droned "is the best referee in the game, and if anything, he was probably a bit lenient on us." He went on to invite the Head of BBC Sport to his daughter's birthday party. And Finally.... The Football Association have today been charged with bringing the game into disrepute. The charges relate to seven counts of complete incompetence, including the hiring of Steve McLaren and Fabio Capello as England manager, the Contract given to Mr Capello just before the 2010 World Cup Finals, the decision to play the FA Cup Final before the end of the league season, and the mental abuse of many hundreds of thousands of football fans across the country due to their frankly absurd policy decisions, such as the allegations against QPR. If the FA are found guilty, QPR could be subject to an immediate 10 point addition....

Sadly I don't think the struture of this forum is suited to rolling news as it always shows the oldest item first rather than the most recent. And no, I can't be bothered to click all the options until it represents something readable! SAy what you like about 606 but the presentation was simple and easy to use.
Delighted to see my idea implemented so quickly! Would never get that on 606. Even if it doesn't work it's worth a go but I'm sure there is an option which allows you to jump to the last post in the thread. As such, it should be fine!!
