    Just seen this on "Twitter"

    twitter.com/M0dqduTX

Duncan Castle did say that an American consortium had been at one of our recent game.

Does anybody think that there's any weight to the story?

The link does not seem to work.
It says that David Beckham is fronting an American consortium to try to buy Leeds United.
There are lots of comments. I/e will we get free Spice Girl concerts.
Also rumour that Donald Trump is part of the backing money.

As I recall, there was an American (potential) investor in Bates' box at a recent match, but there was no detail given re. the rest.

That would be.... actually I have no idea how I would feel, I would be so shocked.

Despite his scum connections I've actually always liked Beckham, plus he pissed off Fergie so that's always a positive.

    Highly plausible.

    I believe it,

    honest

Anyway, if its true, will Posh be at the games, and will people still sing fantasising about her alleged preferences?

not sure I want American owners. Couldn't do with the club being Americanised with cheerleaders and goal music and the like. The club is very vulnerable at the moment that arrogant owners would try their own methods for improving the atmosphere and could change what Leeds is

A potential American investor was at the Millwall game in November.

Morning Irish. He's no bigger a twat than Bates or the GFH twits. Difference with Beckham, he has pots of money. Might get his young lads into the academy. I'm sure they can play a bit unless they've taken after the stick insect side of the family

I disagree, I think cheerleaders would provide plenty of pre-match entertainment. Entertainment our team seems to be sadly lacking in.

And I wouldn't worry about the goal music, it's not like we ever really score anymore <laugh>

so, in summary, still undecided on this one?<laugh>

Personally, I'd like it to be true (it isn't, of course) just for the joy of having the hugely talented Mrs B at some of our games, and the light hearted banter that I am sure would follow
