    Sky Sports are reporting that Liverpool owner John W Henry knew 'virtually nothing' about Liverpool FC before taking them over but are also reporting him as saying " I certainly knew about Manchester United." <laugh>

    If he knew virtually nothing of Liverpool, I guess he'd never heard of Dogleash!

    KPR will blow a gasket!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I thought that was pretty well known? FSG were just looking for a top flight football club to buy - they tried Marseille before they got Liverpool. It stands to reason that if they were just looking for a club to buy they wouldn't research every club in Europe, they'd just buy the first one that they could and learn about them as they went.

    Just really funny. KPR keeps saying FSG have this master plan, they know what players to sign, champions within 3 years blah blah blah. Henry barely knew the club!
