    Seem to remember a lot of Mags were pleased to help when Billy was in need of help and no conditions were asked for. Syd might remember I probably put more in the collection than any of you guys did yourselves.

    And it isn't just about the cash it's about a little bit of sympathy to the people affected by a horrible disease that is no respecter of life.

    but Billy doesn't go wumming by choice, big difference, im only too pleased to help. but if he wants to be decent like qwop and the decent mags, then he wont mind, then im sure a lot more of us would help.

    How are you planning on running the auction mate?

    I could sor you out with some rather nice venues (Toon or Jesmond) for an event, gimme a shout PM or Facey.

    My mate did a bash in Lynch in last summer and it went down very well.

    We've got the venue mate, just looking at ways to get in touch with NUFC, but come to think of it, I think it would be great to get a signed Sunderland shirt or ball. I've heard Sunderland are a lot more approachable so will be trying them in the morning, anyone got any advice on who to contact first?

    We're keeping it local, close to her main friends as we thought more people would turn up and plus, we got it free.

    Gotta be hinest mate, in my experience, SAFC are ****ing nightmare with this kinda thing.

    The press office simply does not respond to mail or phone, you best bet (IMO) is to send a message to somebodya at one of the fanzines and see if they have an inside contact.

    We got ****ing nowhere with the Africa appeal, and that was something that could have benefitted the club as well as the people.

    Really let me down.

    Worth a try I suppose, I've managed to get a few NUFC contacts with the use of twitter so hopefully we can get a canny prize to go to our auction.
