    I heard on the radio that Barcelona are close to signing Suarez. So I'm a bit puzzled.

    If Suarez is banned from all things football related, how can he be in talks with Barcelona before the four month ban is up? Also if he does sign will he have his picture taken in Barcelona City centre holding an imaginary football scarf?

    He's banned from football for 4 months but he can still move to a different club. Will be glad when he's gone tbh!

    He can still transfer even though he can't play until November

    And Barcelona's transfer embargo gets lifted in Jan 2015 I thought? A very perculiar set of circumstances, but like Shiny I'm glad he's going and I'm glad Dipper FC are losing their best player :)

    If he goes to Barca, then FIFA/UEFA will not dare to make his ban cover club football, if he stays at Liverpool they most probably will, Simples!!

    And Liverpool know it, that is why they are happy to negotiate with Barca.

    But once Barca and Liverpool agree, surely his ban means he can't negotiate. He's banned from all footballing relating matters.
