Long time reader - first post.Used to be a season ticket holder and travelled up from North Lincsbut had to give up due to others giving up season tickets I'm looking to buy season ticket again but need to car share with someone from Scunthorpe/Grimsby area. Is there anyone out there wanting/willing to share.
I'm in Lincs and I've been thinking recently about setting up a Lincoln/East mids supporters' branch. Is there one already?
I love how Scun thorpe gets **** where the "c" word is, wonder which other towns/city names get that sort of censorship!!
Yes mate ***derland, it's a dirty word up here, on the odd occasion we do see it, the locals think that the sky has caught fire.
Been a member on this site for a while and look every day. It gives me a bloody good laugh and make a refreshing change from having to listen to all the bloody spurs, chelski, west ham, liverpool and qpr fans at work down here in London. I dont suppose there is anything set up in west London for faithful fans of my dear home town. For travel to the SoL or away days and for getting together for a pint and a like minded discussion about my beloved black cat. FTM
Might be able to help you there in a few weeks, we are looking into moving to London at the minute, and if we do, i'll be up for home games! Will keep you informed! Disco is in London already, and he's a cracking lad
Ha, aye. Crazy as it sounds, and lovely a place it is here, and despite us being very settled, it's getting to the point now where it's a bit like 'we've done everything now, what else is there?'. There's nowhere else on the continent I fancy living, we do fancy Miami or New York at some point, but not yet. We're just considering it, but it's probably sitting 50/50, which means there's a chance we'll do it, end September. You do miss England, rain, traffic, match, mates, proper pubs, banter, you do miss it. The sun is nice, but then, holidays are fun
Hi mate, I its Rod thought you were dead lol, live up the lakes now spend all my time up the fells now with our lass, bit of an easy life but someone has to do it get yourself up and we can go for bite and a wander.
Hi Rod - good to hear from you - I've just retired from school (oldest school kid in the world) and am doing very little. Let me know where you are - we're frequently in the lakes and would certainly come and have a wander up a small hill or two with you Cheers Trev.
