    Hi guys,

I bought a few tickets for me and a couple of friends for the game on Tuesday night.

Obviously we are situated on the upper tier on one side of the Cobbold, but could anyone help tell/describe to me more on where we are and if we are likely to have a poor view, because this is something I have read online.

    These are my ticket details:

    BLOCK: V2
    ROW: G
    SEATS: 0001/0002/0003

    TURNSTILE: 10/11

Hope some of you can make sense of that and give us a heads up.

    Cheers, and good luck!

    Poor view...?

From the sound of it you have an excellent view, almost level with the edge of the 18yd box, bout 10 meters from & 5 meters above pitch level.
Facilities are not great for you though.
Station Hotel is normally drinking spot for away fans, 5mins walk from ground.

Hope that helps, bad luck for tuesday night, but good luck for rest of season.

You are in upper tier but the lower tier there is only about 12 rows deep, then there are some exec boxes then upper tier starts.

I am going to the return fixture as have never been to new ground and have a mate who is a Saints season ticket holder, what is it like there for us away fans pls.?

It's not far from the station to the ground, and there is a pub right near to the ground. You can walk from Southampton Central station if you arrive by train, go out and go left up the steep slope, across city centre, past the public parks, then under the underpass walkway, and you come out onto an old road with a few old shops that look derelict. Keep walking, a pub, The King Alfred, normally welcomes away fans unless your away support has a reputation. If not, the usual away haunt is Yates, which is on your right as you get to the City Centre. From there you can see a bridge to your right. Over that bridge and you then see St. Mary's, you follow the bridge, the down some steps and you're at the ground. Away end can hold 3,200 and offers a good range of drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Good views wherever you are as that is how it is designed. The naturally loud support is to your right. Generally you have a corner of the ground behind a goal, but if you get to take over 2,000 you will take up just under half of the Northam Stand behind the goal.

    Hope that helps.
